Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Haun Player application for macOS ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Acceptance

Haun Player is distributed through the Apple Mac App Store. Your use is also subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. Where there is a conflict regarding distribution or payment, Apple's terms control.

2. What Haun Player is

Haun Player is a media player for macOS. It connects to IPTV services that use the Xtream Codes API and to M3U/M3U8 playlists that you provide, and plays the streams natively on your Mac. It offers organization features such as profiles, favorites, customizable categories, search and subtitle support.

3. No content is provided

We have no relationship with, and no control over, any IPTV provider, server, playlist or stream you choose to use. The availability, legality, quality and content of any stream are solely the responsibility of your provider and you.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree that you will:

• only use the app with content and services you are legally entitled to access;
• comply with all applicable laws and with the terms of your IPTV provider;
• not use the app to access, distribute or facilitate access to pirated, infringing or otherwise unlawful content;
• be solely responsible for the sources, credentials and playlists you add.

You are responsible for any consequences arising from the sources you choose to use with the app.

5. Trial & purchase

The app offers a free trial period (7 days), after which continued full access requires a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. All payments, refunds and billing are handled by Apple under its policies; we do not process payments. Trial and purchase status is managed through your Apple account.

6. License

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, or resell the app except to the extent permitted by law.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every provider, stream format or network condition. DRM-protected content (such as Widevine or FairPlay) is not supported.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Haun Team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the app, or to any content accessed through it. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
